fame as a member of ABC

KING FAMILY", put them

As "THE LETTERMEN",
Jim and Gary had a

ALBUMS with
Capitol Records on
Billboard Magazine's
national charts.
They had TONS OF GOLD
RECORDS, FIVE
GRAMMY NOMINATIONS, a
CLEO AWARD, an
Andy Award and sold to

DOLLARS worth of
records, tapes and CD's
worldwide.

Then in October 2001 Jim
and Gary, as “The
Lettermen” were inducted
into the Vocal Group

When N.A.S.A. decided to
leave a recording
representing “American
Popular Music” in the
time capsule on the
moon, one of the songs
they chose was a
Lettermen hit called
“Love”, which just
happened to be a solo by
Jim Pike.
Billboard Magazine, the
standard of the
recording industry
referred to Jim and Gary
in their former group as
“The Greatest Male
Romantic Vocal Group of
All Time!”.
According to Billboard,
the top male vocal group
album sellers of the
60's were: the Beatles
#1, the Beach Boys #2
and The Lettermen were
#3”. When it comes to
having a track record of
hits and backing it up
with stellar live
performances, these guys
